About Renewal by Andersen
Renewal by Andersen is the full-service window and door replacement division of Andersen Corporation, founded in 1995 and headquartered in Bayport, Minnesota. The division operates through a network of franchised and company-owned local operators who provide an end-to-end replacement experience — in-home consultation, custom-measured products, professional installation, and warranty service — all under one brand.
Renewal by Andersen products are made with Fibrex, a proprietary composite material consisting of roughly 40% wood fiber and 60% thermoplastic polymer. Fibrex frames are claimed to be twice as rigid as vinyl and require less maintenance than wood, with a narrower profile than equivalent-performance vinyl windows. The product line includes double-hung, casement, awning, slider, bay and bow, gliding, and specialty shapes alongside hinged and sliding patio doors.
Because Renewal by Andersen controls the entire experience from product to installation, warranty claims are straightforward — there is no finger-pointing between manufacturer and contractor. This integrated model commands premium pricing and drives strong consumer satisfaction scores.
